Boston Immigration Lawyer

Millie Anne Cavanaugh, Esq. is an immigration lawyer who was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, MA. After completing undergraduate work at Tufts University, Millie moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA School of Law and has been splitting her time between the East and West Coasts ever since.

Millie is licensed to practice state law in Massachusetts and California. Although the primary location of her practice is in Southern California, she is readily able to represent immigration clients throughout New England. The skills and experience she has gained working in the fast-paced Los Angeles immigration legal market prove to be an asset when representing clients in smaller legal communities, such as Boston. Most immigration representation can be handled virtually, via telephone, e-mail, fax or regular mail. When necessary, in-person consultations and meetings with clients are held at a Boston satellite office, by appointment only. When the physical presence of the attorney is required at a USCIS interview in the Boston area, clients are not charged for attorney travel expenses given the frequency of Millie’s coast-to-coast trips.

Why hire this Boston immigration lawyer?

This immigration law practice is not what you would consider “traditional”. Millie does not spend thousands of dollars each month on rent, nor does she regularly hire support staff to handle client contact or case preparation. Instead, she operates an “e-office”, renting office space only when she needs to meet with a client and handling a majority of documents in electronic form or through the mail. Although she cannot take on as many cases as larger firms do, she can charge clients less and give them the personal attention of an immigration attorney throughout the entire case.

Millie is usually available by phone and email, even during non-business hours such as at night and on weekends. She strives to respond to client communication immediately, but no longer than 24 hours later.
