CDJ (Juarez) Mexico Consulate
The US Consulate at Ciudad de Juarez (CDJ), Mexico, is one of several American consular facilities serving Mexican immigrants and non-immigrant visitors. A new consulate at Juarez was recently completed in order the handle the enormous volume of US citizen and foreign national customers. CDJ is located right across the US border from El Paso, TX and can be reached via El Paso by walking bridge, bus, taxi or car. The USCIS office at Ciudad de Juarez started the Pilot Program two years ago to handle 601 waiver applications for intending immigrants.

A 62-year-old Washington man was hospitalized in Denver on his way back from his wife’s visa interview for a permanent resident green card (LPR) at the US Consulate in Ciudad de Juarez (CDJ), Mexico. The couple’s immigration attorney was unable to communicate with either of her clients as the husband was under sedation and the wife was unreachable following her visa application denial.
